Booking Info:
To book, fill out the form below.
Before booking, here are some things to know!- I price by the piece with a $100 minimum, $30-50 drawing fee for custom tattoos- I offer sliding scale for POC, if you identify with this and feel comfortable, feel free to mention it in the form as well-I also require a $30 deposit at the time of booking that goes toward the total cost of the tattoo and is nonrefundable if you don't show up or you cancel within 48 hours of the appointment, keep that in mind when submitting the form
FAQ:
If I need to reschedule my appointment, do I have to pay another deposit? Generally if you're contacting me within 48 hours of the appointment, I will ask for a new deposit, but life is unpredictable and sometimes really lame things happen, I'm a pretty understanding person and if you need to reschedule for something out of your control, we can work something out, just reach out to me
How do I pay the deposit for the appointment? After you submit the booking form, I will email you back with payment information and scheduling
Why do you offer lower pricing for POC? Eventually I would like to do more in terms of making tattooing more accessible to Black and Brown folks, but as of now since I am new to the industry and building a clientele, this is what I can offer as I am learning. As a white person, it is not up to me to decide whether someone identifies with being POC (for lack of better term), but generally the idea of offering the option of lower pricing is to give people with darker skin tones more access to tattoos since the industry in Portland is mostly white and doesn't always provide a welcoming environment or even references for tattooing services on melanated skin. The more access I create, the more practice I will have on melanated skin tones, therefore hopefully a better service I can give to Black and brown folks.
Will you tattoo in any style? Generally speaking, no, I will NOT tattoo in any style. If you ask, I may have recommendations for other artists who tattoo in the style you're looking for. But asking me to design something in japanese traditional or tribal or other styles that obviously don't reflect my own is like going to an ear doctor for stomach pains.
Is your booking on a first come first serve basis? As of now, yes! As I gain more clients and availability, that may change
What are your covid policies? Masks are still required at the appointment as well as proof of vaccination or a rapid test within 48 hours of the appointment. Please let me know ASAP if you have any symptoms close to the appointment date.
What is your touch-up policy? Up to two touchup appointments are free within the first year of healing for the tattoo. If you are planning on getting another tattoo from me, it would be more sustainable and save on supplies to group the touchup appointment with the new tattoo if possible!
Do you offer color tests? I do! Whether you would just like to see how certain colors heal on your skin before you commit to a big piece or you're trying to see if you have allergic reactions to certain inks, I am happy to accommodate a simple design involving the colors for free!
Before the Appointment:
Try to come hydrated with a good nights rest & a meal in your belly
Be sure to bring a valid, government issued photo ID. This includes ID card, drivers license, passport, etc.
Bring your mask and proof of vaccination or negative test taken within 48 hours of the appointment
Please come on time, if you are more than 30 minutes late, a new deposit is needed
After the Appointment:
If using Saniderm bandage, try to leave it on for at least 24 hours, and up to no more than 3 days. If the saniderm starts leaking or lifting at any point, remove it early.
If using a regular bandage, you need remove it after about 4-6 post-appointment.
Before taking off either bandage, wash your hands thorougly with soap and warm water, do not re-use the bandages.
After taking off either bandage, cleanse the tattoo under warm running water (the shower is best!), and wash using a MILD, UNSCENTED, LIQUID soap. I recommned Gold dial antibacterial soap or Dr Bronners. When washing the tattoo, only wash using the pads of your fingers. Do not use lufas, washcloths, etc.
After Washing, try to let the tattoo air out and dry for 10-15 min and then apply a mild unscented moisturizer like cetaphil or minimal aquaphor (using too much doesn't allow the tattoo to breathe and heal properly).
Repeat these cleansing and moisturizing steps 1-2 times a day for about 4-5 days after the appointment and continue lightly moisturizing until the tattoo has stopped flaking/itching.
For 2-4 weeks following the appointment, do not submerge your tattoo in water (hot tubs, pools, saunas, rivers, etc.) and avoid sunlight as much as possible
Wearing loose clothing around the tattoo and not picking or scratching at it will insure the best healing results as well!
Please email or DM me with any healing questions at any time
